What to Expect

Newborn,  Maternity & Family

Thanks to my beautiful niece and nephew, I have first-hand experience of watching just how quickly little ones change and grow. Day by day, your newborn develops and before you know it, they'll be crawling, talking, walking, starting school and then leaving for university!! It really does fly past in a wondrous blur! This is why I think it’s so important to capture these special moments so that they can last a lifetime. What better way to remind yourselves of how small they once were than to have a beautiful keepsake of your little treasures, before they grow into bigger treasures!

Being a new parent can be overwhelming enough, so I’ve written a set of documents to help my clients understand what to expect and to feel more comfortable with the process I use for my various photo shoots. I want you to be as well informed as possible so that you can feel more relaxed and enjoy your experience.

Newborns

Without a doubt, this is a very exciting time for all involved, but this can also be one of the first outings for you and your new family! No need to worry though, as all the information you need is here.

With the newborn shoots, you should be prepared for lots of feeding, pooping, weeing and waiting, while I capture these beautiful moments for you. Family Photo Shoot

With my family photo shoots my aim is to always for everyone to have lots of fun and laughter. This helps create those beautiful, natural and joyful smiley moments whether it’s in a studio session or an outdoorsy shoot. Studio sessions are great for those traditional style family photos with perfect lighting in a controlled environment where you can also play with creative lighting techniques. But also, with so many amazing locations in Singapore for a family shoot, it can be great to get outside and have some fun, whilst capturing some special moments.

Outdoor Shoots:

For those who seek the beauty of nature as a backdrop, our outdoor shoots are an adventure into stunning locations across Singapore. Against the backdrop of nature's grandeur, your family's dynamics come alive in the most picturesque settings. From the playful scenes in your backyard to the tranquility of a garden or the casual charm of a front porch, as I capture the essence of your family in the open air.

Home Visits:

Step into the comfort of your own space with our home visit shoots. Especially suitable for families with younger children, these sessions create a setting that's more comfortable for little ones. Whether it's interactive family activities, capturing unscripted and candid moments, or adding seasonal touches to your home setting, our home visits are a more intimate location for your family photoshoot.

Maternity Shoot

My maternity photo shoots always tend to be a mixture of creative and traditional in terms of the style of photos, whether its in a studio session or an outdoorsy shoot. Studio sessions are fantastic controlled environments where you can play with creative lighting techniques and various coloured backgrounds. But also, if you'd prefer a more natural feel there are many great outdoor settings in Singapore for a maternity shoot. It simply comes down to your preference when deciding but I am able to offer both.

Cake Smash Shoot

Cake Smash sessions are so much fun for the whole family and definitely myself too. Cake smash shoots are typically for 1st birthdays but in my experience they can be even better for the 2nd, 3rd or even older birthdays. Depending on the style you want to achieve we can work together to create a fun theme and/or colour scheme.

For my cake smash sessions I have a whole studio setup with various coloured backdrops to choose from including lots of props such as decorated chalk boards, wooden letters spelling the word "ONE", homemade fabric bunting, fairy lights and more. You just need to supply the cake, birthday outfit and any other props such as balloons that you might like.
