The Man Behind The Lens
I'm Daniel Parker, a freelance photographer based in the vibrant city of Singapore. My passion lies in capturing the essence of life's precious moments, specializing in newborn, maternity, family, engagement, and wedding photography services.
The inception of Vision Photography took root in 2014, nurtured by the unwavering support of my beloved wife, Chanelle. We embarked on this journey from a cozy flat in central London, and the venture has since evolved into a heartfelt commitment to helping people immortalize beautiful memories.
While my heart lies in newborn and family sessions, conducted in the warmth of Singapore, I believe weddings and babies go hand in hand. As a maternity, newborn, and family photographer, sharing these intimate moments with you is a privilege I hold dear.
Being based in Singapore affords me the flexibility to travel to sought-after wedding destinations across Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and, of course, Singapore. Having experienced the perfection of a Bali wedding personally, I understand the allure these locations bring to a wedding setting.
A British-born 'cheeky chappy' with a penchant for adventure, I'm a photography enthusiast who thrives on telling captivating stories through the lens. My photography journey began with less talkative underwater subjects, sparking a fascination that eventually transitioned to capturing the beauty of life on land.
In the studio, I revel in employing creative lighting techniques to craft unique photos. Outside the studio, my signature style combines natural, candid, and artistic elements, ensuring you feel at ease while I immortalize those priceless moments with your loved ones. Three Random Facts about Dan
1. I was born and raised on the not so sunny and very sleepy Isle of Wight in the South of England.
2. I’m a qualified scuba diver and PADI Divemaster; I worked in Sipadan off the East coast of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo for a year (if you’ve never been, stick it on your bucket list!).
3. To convince my wonderful wife (pictured right) that it was a good idea to marry me, I made a surprise movie about our engagement called ‘My Rooftop Proposal’, which made the national newspapers in the UK. Luckily she said yes! You can watch it here on YouTube.
