Thiago's Cake Smash

Yovanee and Yuraj wanted a really simple setup for their son Thiago’s cake smash which personally I love! They had a few family photos on the white background first and then things got all messy. He even had a little Liverpool FC kit on for the smashing.

Oscar's 2nd Birthday Party

Two years ago I shot little baby Oscar’s newborn photos and now I was shooting his 2nd birthday! What an awesome journey to be included on, watching the whole family grow. Lucy, his mother, always puts in so much effort with the planning and creative ideas for all the setup. This years theme was everything lego! :)

Mark's Cake Smash

I first met Mark and his lovely family when they visited for a family shoot shortly after he was born. Now he was back to smash some cake to bits and have a lot of fun doing it! Mom and Dad had some great funny photo ideas that they wanted to be included in so we got some nice family group shots before all the mess started. For the actual cake smash they wanted to keep it nice an simple with minimal props which I really loved how it came out.

Oscar's 6th Birthday Party

Oscar’s mom and dad Coco and Alan had arranged probably the most fun birthday party idea I have been invited to shoot in Singapore. They invited all his buddies to visit Waka Waka jungle gym play area and the children were able to run around like crazy having so much fun. Definitely one that I will remember for my baby girl when she is a bit older.

Gaia's 2nd Birthday Party

I had the honour of photographing Gaia for her 1st birthday party so it was lovely to be invited back and see the huge change in one year. She looked so grown up now and Candy and Marco threw another fantastic birthday party for her.

Alba's Cake Smash

My little baby girl Alba was turning 1 so there was absolutely no way we were going to miss out on a cake smash session for her. As with all cake smash sessions we took it nice and slow first and then wrmed her up and she loved it…so did we!! :) But with most cake smash, normally what happens is they will enjoy it until suddenly they are just too messy, at this point they will let you know in their own way! Hahaha!! ;) I decided to add some of the hilarious moment our baba had had enough! :)

Here’s some of our favourites from the shoot;

Gracie's Cake Smash

I had just recently had the pleasure of photographing Gracie’s whole family and she was turning the ripe old age of 1. So mom thought it would be great to come to my studio for a cake smash. Marisa made an awesome cake and even brought along some cool props of her own for the shoot to make it really unique. I absolutely love shooting cake smash sessions because they are so much fun for everyone there!!

Simon's 50th Birthday

Simon & Anthea

Anthea contacted me because she wanted to document her husbands big day when he turned 50. They sure did pick a fantastic venue for the birthday. It was held in one of the very cool rooms of the 1880 gentlemen's club near Robertson Quay, with all of the guests dressed to impress. The cocktails were soon flowing and the DJ playing some awesome beats.

Big birthdays with all your friends and family are wonderful occasions so what better way to remember these times than with some timeless images. Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions or would like to make an enquiry.

Maya's 3rd Birthday Party

Maya’s parents were throwing a big birthday bash for her 3rd birthday with some great entertainers and vendors. We had some lovely family photos around the pool of their condo too.

Alex's 3rd Birthday Cake Smash

Alex

Alex turned the grand old age of 3 and his mum wanted to have a cake smash session for him. This wasn't his first cake smash and although typically they were made famous by children reaching their first birthday, this session was so much fun because Alex fully knew what was going on. They wanted the session in the comfort of their own condo so I brought all of my props and studio setup to their home. Mom Lucy also added some of her own great props and balloon to really give the photos a personal touch which I always encourage. Cake Smash sessions are always hilarious so I absolutely love doing them.
