Nisha and Mahesh were expecting baby number 2 and wanted to have a family style maternity shoot to remember the occasion before they become a family of 4. We did some shots outside and in the studio for a nice variety of styles.

Aurelia's Newborn Home Visit Shoot

Aurelia, Zoe, Chris & Talulah

Zoe was expecting her 2nd bundle of fun and wanted to get some nice natural lifestyle baby photos around their home. Aurelia was super smiley and her older sister Talulah was fantastic in the photos. Even their cute little dog was included in the shoot.

Orson's Newborn Home Visit Shoot

Baby Orson, Natalie, Kinar & Niamh

I had the honor of photopgraphing Natalie and Kinar’s first baby Niamh as well as now their latest addition baby Orson. Originally we had planned another studio shoot but the COVID 19 situation did not allow and we had to wait a while. At 6 weeks old I usually recommend a home visit so that is what we decided. With a home visit you can easily get lots of beautiful natural light “lifestyle” shots in a natural setting and I also had a few props with me to create some studio style photos too. I loved how their album came out and it was lovely to see you guys again.

Archie's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Archie, Louisa & Mark

Little Archie was only 8 days old when he visited my studio for his newborn session so he was super sleepy and a great poser. I first met Louisa and Mark during an outdoor maternity shoot with them so I was very excited to meet their little fella. Mom and Dad were fantastic during the shoot, very relaxed and had some great ideas of the types of shots they wanted me to capture.

Keppel Bay Marina

Louisa booked in for both a maternity shoot and newborn session which is always really exciting. I love getting to know my clients as a couple, especially when it’s their first, and then next seeing them as a family of three. It really is such a privilege to join them on this amazing part of their lives. After taking a few in their condo, we visited Keppel Bay Marina in the late afternoon and the weather was absolutely gorgeous for us. They were fantastic in front of the camera and I cannot waiyt to meet the little fella.

Oscar's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Oscar, Anna, Fintan, Jake & Chloe

When Anna & Fintan got in touch to let me know she was soon adding a 3rd bundle of fun to the family, I was super excited because the photos you can get with older siblings are truly magical. As you can imagine photographing two siblings with a “new kid on the block” is no easy feet but totally worth it! Jake and Chloe posed perfectly for some pics with their new baby brother, some particular ones that I’ve never been able to get before so I was super happy! Baby Oscar was a little older at 4 weeks, so he wasn’t too fussed about sleeping much. :) But luckily that didn’t matter because he was super chilled and great at posing.

Arthur's Newborn Home Visit Shoot

Baby Arthur, Kirsty, Josh & Amelia

Kirsty had originally arranged a studio shoot for Arthur but in the crazy times of coronavirus we chatted and decided it would be safer if I came and visited them at their home. I love the natural lifestyle photos that home visits bring. Kirsty and Josh had wanted some more studio style ones too so I did my best to replicate a studio setting with some props, blankets and cute outfitss. I loved how they came out.

Lucy's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Lucy, Jess, Mike & Ollie

I first met the Bradshaw’s when we visited The Botanic Gardens for a family shoot and the three of them were great fun. Jess contacted me the following year when they were soon to be a family of four. It was such an honor to meet and photograph baby Lucy at the amazing age of 9 days old. She was brilliant and posed perfectly.

Daniela's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Daniela, Soraya & David

Daniela was just 8 days old when she came to my studio. Soraya wanted to do a mixture of black background and a splash of colour for the baby only ones and then a light grey background for the family photos. I loved how they all came out and it was great working with them all.

Annabelle's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Annabelle, Natalie, Alex & Elizabeth

I first met the Jackson family when they became a family of three and now they had a wonderful fourth addition for me to photograph. Annabelle was absolutely amazing during her shoot, so sleepy and easy to pose. We experimented with some new backlighting techniques too which came out beautifully.

Ellie's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby ellie, jane, koen & harvey

I first met Jane, Koen and Harvey when they came to my studio for a maternity shoot which went really well so I couldn’t wait to meet the new addition to their family, Ellie. It is such an incredible honour to be apart of the before and after of a birth and help capture those precious moments. Ellie was just over 4 weeks old when she came to the studio but she was so chilled that it was like working with a 6-8 day old baby.

Joseph's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Joseph, Fan, Matt & DJ the dog

Joseph was nearly 4 weeks old when he came to my studio for a newborn shoot but you would never have known he was a little older. He was so chilled and easy to pose, it was great photographing him. And mom and dad, Fan and Matt, wanted to bring their “other fury baby” :) DJ their dog. I was thrilled to have him along and he was also very cooperative. I love including pets in shoots. It’s a big challenge but a fun one that creates some really unique adorable photos.

Jane's Studio Maternity Shoot

Jane visited my studio recently with her husband Koen and gorgeous son Harvey for a maternity shoot. They wanted something a bit creative and glam which I think is a perfect reason to have a studio session. I loved their ideas and also tried a few new ones of my own. All three were fantastic to work with and I cannot wait to meet the little one for their newborn session.

Meredith's Newborn Studio Shoot

Baby Meredith, Claire & Kyle

Claire and Kyle are friends of ours so I was very honoured and excited to be asked to shoot their first ever newborn session. Meredith was only a few days old which is always easier for the session. Claire wanted some beautiful skin on skin breast feeding shots which came out really well.

Zubin's Newborn Studio Shoot

I first met Navreet and Harman on a fantastic maternity shoot with just the two of them. :) I was very excited to meet little Zubin and as always, it is such an honor to be one of the first people to see the new addition and them become a family. Zubin was fabulous and it was really special having the grandparents here for the shoot too.
